Explain why you made your decision, and connect this to the importance of having a reliable schedule. In your initial post, address the following:

• In your project example, how would knowing the project's critical path have helped you make an informed decision?
• What is float, and how is it determined? How can float help when having to make a decision such as long-lead material changes?
• How will you use this knowledge to assist you on future projects?
