Think of a question about which you would like to find out what a target population thinks. Follow these steps. 1. State the question. 2. identify your target population. 3. How did you develop your sample? 4. Summarize what you learned from your sample about what the target population thinks about your question. You must state your findings in terms of percentages, i.e., 20% answered X; 35% answered Y; 45% answered Z 5. Based on your sample can you draw a reasonable conclusion about the target population? To answer this question, you must consider whether your sample is large enough and representative enough of your target population. (It is okay to conclude that you cannot draw a reasonable conclusion about the target population.)
