During the preparation of the research report, you will be required to:

Scenario

Currently, the organisational performance development program is one of the lowest things on the priority list of Training Organisation. It must plan and develop a robust performance development program that will allow the workforce to acquire new skills, sharpen existing ones, perform better, and increase productivity be better leaders.

The training organisation has analysed that they have lacked in this area due to incompetent processes in place to plan and develop organisational performance development. Since a training organisation is the sum total of what workforce achieve individually, training organisation should do everything in their power to ensure that workforce perform at their peak. The training organisation wants to have detailed and thorough procedures to develop and maintain a performance development program.

The training organisation has hired you as the Human Resource Manager, and the General Manager has allocated you with the task to establish procedures to develop an Organisational performance development program. As Human Resource Manager, your job role requires you to:

  • Identify the purposes and benefits of an organisational performance development program for the training organisation.
  • Determine the components of an organisational performance development program.
  • Support the organisational performance development program design principles especially focusing on Continuous Self-Improvement (CSI)
  • Assisting with the performance development and review process.
  • Support various roles in an organisational performance development
  • Research relevant legislation and organisational policies relevant to organisational performance development, including confidentiality and privacy requirements
  • Establish a method and format to evaluate and report on organisational performance development programs

Description of the activity:

This activity requires the student to complete and prepare a research report on your training organisations performance development programs.

You will take on the role of the Human Resource Manager in your training organisation.

Your report must follow the below-given guidelines:

  • The report must be prepared using Template 1 provided. The word limit to complete the report is 1200-1500 words.
  • Start with an introduction, and then move on to supporting body paragraphs. Write a conclusion and cite your sources.
  • You must only use authentic and verifiable information.
  • The report should be presented in the provided format.
  • Proofread it.
  • Always make sure to run your ideas by your trainer/assessor to make sure that it is okay that you approach the report in this way.
  • Your report must contain original content and should not be a copy of someone elses work.
  • You must use Harvard style referencing in the report.
