This assignment builds on the first and is intended to demonstrate how the student is integrating course content into their thinking about management. In this assignment, the student will envision how they might run their own organization (including describing the type of organization they wish to work for or lead) based upon the readings and resources, lectures and class discussions to date and their own experience. The assignment will include discussion of management styles or approaches that the student feels are and are not effective properly citing resources from the course and references to class discussions as well as sources from beyond the readings list as well as their own experiences. The assignment should reflect how understandings from these sources might be infused into their own approach to management, including bringing different ways of thinking to decision-making tables. Overall the statement should make a clear case, citing sources, for why their approach to running an organization can be successful including have multiple benefits for people and place (economically, socially, environmentally, culturally etc.). The assignment will be used as a reference for group presentations
