This assignment involves conducting the first two steps of a risk assessment process for three human-created or natural hazards in Jackson County, Iowa. For my assignment, I will utilize the first two of those six steps to frame an initial survey level identification of risks within my community. My assignment will be at least two pages and is not intended to be overly detailed. 

1. Provide an introductory paragraph that states the purpose of the risk assessment and identifies the community. Examine the process of conducting a risk assessment.

 2. The body of your paper will identify at least three human-caused or natural hazards that may impact the community. Utilizing the information provided , put these hazards in context to make them relative to each other. You can explain how you would utilize various tools to identify and profile the hazards or provide the actual profile. 

3. Based on likelihood and impact, identify how you would rank where community investments should be made in preparedness or mitigation for these three hazards. Be sure to also discuss ways to identify resources needed when preparing the response. 

4. Explain the need for interagency collaboration during a disaster or emergency event. 

5. Craft a short concluding paragraph that summarizes your evaluation and any potential next steps in the risk assessment process.
