This assignment is to gage your understanding of requirements analysis; how to perform requirements analysis to establish requirements as well as perform functional analysis and allocation. For this assignment, use the recent development you discussed for Cell Phone. Formulate top level requirements for the designated system you discussed in Cell Phone technology assignment. Essentially, think about the requirements that would have been establish to guide the complete design of the system."DO THIS" List these requirements. You can do so in excel or a word document. It is probably easier to list the requirements in an excel file but be sure to save the file as a .csv file so that you can easily import the document into Innoslate which you will have to do for this assignment. "DO THIS" You should have about 10-15 top level requirements.

"DO THIS" After you have established these requirements, you will then input these requirements into Innoslate Requirements Management Tool. Be sure to watch the tutorial videos, that are contained within the learning module, to learn how to do so. Conduct a quality check on the listed requirements (as demonstrated in the tutorial videos). Consider modifying any requirement that contains a score less than 63%. After you have a good set of requirements, list these complete set on either a word or excel file that you will submit for grading. Also, generate a Innoslate tree diagram and spider diagram of these requirements (again, watch the Innoslate Requirements Management Tool tutorial videos to learn how to do this).

After you have a complete, well established set of requirement, "DO THIS" then perform functional analysis by mapping requirements to designated functions. To do this, think about the subsystems of the system you are working with. Each of these subsystems perform an intended function as a result of the requirements. The establishment of these functions occurs via satisfaction of a requirement or sets of requirements. For example in an automobile system, a requirement that the vehicle must be able to turn and travel in a designated direction is accomplished through the steering subsystem of the vehicle. As such, requirements are satisfied by a subsystem that performs a function. Therefore, map each of your established requirements to a specific function or subsystem element of your system. You are encouraged to use FFBD and IDEFO tools to complete the functional analysis.

This assignment will be a word document that contains the following:

1. Brief description of the system

2. List of top level requirements, including requirements score from Innoslate

3. Requirements Tree and Spider Diagrams from Innoslate. You can copy and past onto the word document or just upload these as separate pdf files.

4. Functional Analysis and allocation mapping to designated functions either by FFBD and / or IDEFO diagrams.

5. List of the functions resulting from item 4 (above) along with brief description of the designated function
