What type of information about the business and owners must be provided? What fees (including the amounts) must be paid to register a sole proprietorship? Include any other necessary requirements for forming a sole proprietorship in your city or county. You should find that it's relatively easy and relatively inexpensive to organize a sole proprietorship. For part (2) of this assignment, go online to the website for the state which you will be assigned. You can conduct a search for the state website through Google.com. However, most state websites can be accessed by entering the following URL: www.state.xx.us with the two-letter state abbreviation inserted for the xx. For instance, the website for Georgia can be accessed with www.state.ga.us. The website for New York can be accessed with www.state.ny.us. From the state's website, look for links about "business," "business organization," "starting a business," or similar wording. Determine the forms that must be filed, basic information that must be provided, and fees (including amounts) for incorporating a business.
