This assignment is worth 10 points. Review this grading rubric before you begin this assignment - Chapter 3 Assignment Rubric_v2.pdf In this assignment, you will create a list of three alternative uses of several items, conduct a brainstorming sessions to generate alternative uses of the same items, and ompare and contrast the results of your list and the list created by the group. 1. On your own, create a list of three alternate uses each for peanut butter, paper clips, and pen caps. Set your list to the side for later. 2. Gather a group of three or four friends and conduct a short brainstorming session (ten minutes) to generate ideas for alternate uses for peanut butter, paper clips, and pen caps. In this activity, do not use your ideas from number 1 - only list the ideas the group members generated. 3. Compare the results of the group with your own ideas and answer the following questions. Be sure to follow the brainstorming guidelines. Did you generate more ideas or did the group? Did the quality of the ideas improve in the group? Were the group ideas more innovative? Which was more fun - creating your own list or facilitating (leading) the group ideas?
