This assignment will have you using JavaScript, not because this is a programming class or that you're likely to use JavaScript for much or any of what you will need to do as a manager or functional business person, but because it is important to be able to communicate with programmers and other technology professionals and to be able to "skim" unfamiliar code or computer language to identify what they might be doing. This work will also help develop a richer understanding of how differently data can be managed in Excel vs a SQL database vs a scripting variable or object, as well as to develop a deeper knowledge of how itgical comparisons are made in a cross-platform / cross-language context
