This assignment will require you to develop an ecommerce website for a client. Read each scenario and pick a client. The website must consist of at least four pages. Follow the steps in the instructions section once you have chosen a client.

Scenario 1 - Jessica

You have been approached by Jessica to help her with the next stage in her online career. Jessica is a beauty guru and model. She started with a blog about make-up products, techniques, fashion, skin care and more. This evolved into a vlog then endorsements from a variety of make-up and clothing suppliers then her own make-up and clothing line. Currently she uses a variety of social media platforms to share her vlogs, blogs and events as well as Etsy to sell her make-up and clothing lines. Jessica is interested in having one location where her fans can come see the latest vlogs and blogs, modeling shoots, links to her various social media platforms, a store and a subscription to her newsletter. Jessica is famous for her matte pastel colours and daintiness. Jessica’s following are largely female millennials. She also wants to be able acknowledge her sponsors.

Scenario 2 – Nathan

Nathan, the lead singer of local metal band Metalklok wants to keep his fans more up to date. He reaches them through many platforms but, wants a place to tie them together. Currently, Metalklok uses Sound Cloud and YouTube to post their music. They make many announcements through Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, etc. They want to be able to sell their albums on their website, provide information about band members, sell merchandise, give fans updates about the band, write blog posts, connect their social media and let fans know about upcoming shows through a calendar. Metalklok is known for their heavy music and their love of dark reds and blacks. Their fanbase is largely 15 to 45-year old males.

Scenario 3 – Mikey

Little Mikey is having an issue collecting information about his lemonade stand clients. He is always on the go and would like an easy to use solution that will let him track and process his sales, have clients make pre-orders of his lemonade (through some sort of external source) and create a "to-do" list for the day based on his orders, and create reports for sales, costs and other business considerations. You determine his issue is the need for a business management too and suggest an app that acts an extranet for him and his customers. On his end he can make the process sales, generate reports, track inventory and more. His customers can create profiles, place orders and make reviews. He loves the idea and would like to see what this could possibly look like. Mikey really wants to his customers to know his site as his through his branding. He uses a lot of bright colours to reflect his product. His customers are largely 30 to 60-year old professionals. Although you can’t make a functional product for him nor can you meet all his requirements, you can make a prototype with many of his requested features, especially for the customer side.

Scenario 4 – Alicia

Alicia sells gluten free baked goods and pre-made mixes to create gluten free foods (ie. Brownie mix, pie crust mix, pancake mix, etc.). She uses a local Facebook group to advertise her goods. Her clients are always hounding her to have a website where they can see her specials, see her products, learn about gluten free foods, make orders as well as make requests for specific foods. Alicia thought this would be a great idea and that should could create a blog to help others with Celiac Disease. Alicia’s market is largely women between the ages of 30 and 60. She has not branded herself as this is a newer endeavor for her.
