There were 200,000 cows that had gone missing in which Tyson foods had never seen them. Easterday Ranches have filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection law. Chapter 11 would allow for the reorganization of Easterday Ranch. It was stated in the complaint filed by Tyson that what they were charged for these non-existent cattle included the cost of purchase, feed, and any other provisions needed to sustain 200,000 of this livestock. Back in October, this company claimed they only had 186,000 cows after supposedly caring for 200,000 for Tyson for years.
