This Deep Learning Activity is designed to help students engage with two of the most commonly applied health behavior models. For each model, choose adifferent health behavior to examine. Please note: you are also required to use a different health behavior from what was used in the lecture notes (cervical cancer screening for Health Belief Model, flu vaccinations for Theory of Planned Behavior).

For each model component, identify factors that might impact that component. For example, if I was completing the Theory of Planned Behavior chart for flu vaccination, for Perceived Behavioral Control, I might write something like "can get it directly from the doctor's office each year as part of annual well visit, offered at local pharmaciesremoving the barrier of needing to make a separate appointment to get the vaccination."

After filling in each chart, complete the reflection question for each model (two - four sentences each).

Health Belief Model:

Model Component

Health Behavior:

Perceived susceptibility
Perceived severity
Perceived benefits
Perceived barriers

Reflection Question:What are social, psychological, or biological factors that are not included in this health behavior modeland might play a significant role in engagement in the health behavior? (two - four sentences)
