This discussion board will ask you to try out a simulation about which door to choose so that you win the prize and not the Zonk. Please complete the following two steps for this discussion board.
In your discussion board post, report your response to each of the three following steps.
1. Start with a guess!
Before you do any simulation, write down what you think is the probability of winning with the "stick" strategy and what you think is the probability of winning with the "switch" strategy. Just guess and write it down!
"stick": __________ "switch": __________
2. Try it out using a simulation!
One of the ways we can figure-out probabilities of events is by using a simulation. Computers allow us to play games many times very quickly and model what would happen in real life.
Go to this simulator from MathWarehouse and play the game a few times to get a feel for it. Try out both strategies ("Change Choice" or "Keep Choice") and see which one seems to have a better probability of winning. At the bottom of the simulator, you can run the simulation 500 or 1000 times using one of the strategies ("Change Choice" or "Keep Choice"). Try many simulations for both strategies.
Take a screen capture of your results like this:

On the discussion board, briefly discuss your findings. Which strategy yields the most wins? Why do you think that strategy wins more?
