This e-mail was sent to Redbox customers on November 8, 2016. Please read the e-mail and answer the following questions:

ii) Carlos Danger is a Redbox customer. He tells his wife that he does not agree with the proposed changes, but he does not inform Redbox. On January 22, 2017, Carlos rents a movie from a Redbox kiosk outlet. Is he subject to the updated policies?

iii) Mabel Goo is a long-time customer of Redbox. She rents a movie from Redbox in February 2017. Subsequently, she sues Redbox. This legal dispute is resolved through mandatory arbitration (as specified in the second paragraph of the below e-mail). If Mabel is not happy with the arbitration ruling, what recourse does she have?

We are writing to notify you that Redbox is updating its Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, which will both take effect on November 30th, 2016. The updates further clarify about our relationship with you and some upcoming new features and changes to our service. There is a change in our Terms and Conditions that involves how legal disputes, if they should arise, will be resolved. The updated Terms and Conditions specify that mandatory arbitration, on an individual and not a class-wide or consolidated basis, must be used as a final and binding method of resolving legal disputes. If you do not agree to either the updated Terms and Conditions or Privacy Policy, you should not use our web sites, kiosks, applications, and other online services after November 30th, 2016. Your continued use of the Redbox platforms after that date is your consent to these updated policies
