This is about the two clips from the movie "Freakonomics" that are linked below (also linked in this week's lecture).
Tell me what you think I want you to learn from the two clips. As a note, "Freakonomics" is a book by an economist and a journalist who teamed up to have some rather frank discussions on data - as in what is data really trying to tell you. Some of it is still largely opinionated, but other parts of it is really interesting, especially to this statistician (me).
Note: I am not advocating the watching of the entire movie itself, although I find it fascinating. Please be warned, the movie as a whole does deal with some topics that might be considered uncomfortable or disagreeable to some audiences. The two attached clips (I believe) do not fit that category.
