This is all to be done on Tableau.
The data consists of 3 datasets. Health -Train_v4 is a list of health records from over 43,000 individuals in the US. Each subject (record) in the study has a unique id. The state in which the subjects reside is indicated with the field state_id. The name of the state associated with each state_id is found in the second dataset, State_ID. The 0/1 fields for hypertension, heart disease, and stroke indicate if the subject had any of these conditions (1) or not (0). The code, hd_code, indicates the type of heart disease from which the subject suffers. The hd_code in Health Train_v4 corresponds to the names of the specific heart diseases found in the third dataset, HD_Type and the field Heart Disease Type.
- The research team wants to see how the states differ with respect to the occurrence of heart disease. (13 points)
- Create a map that shows the states with the color of the state indicating the relative occurrence of heart disease. (5)
- Show the name of each state on the map. (2)
- Show the number of people in the study that had heart disease on the map, as well. (2)
- Add a filter that allows the viewer to adjust the states that show on the map based on each states incidence of heart disease. Set the filter to show only those states that had at least 30 people in the study with heart disease. (2)
- Turn on the caption so it is visible at the bottom of the sheet. Rename the sheet to something descriptive. (2)
