This is an application assignment. The purpose of this assignment, and the Ethics in my Life (EIML) project as a whole, is to connect the concepts and tools in the course material to what is interesting or useful to you. Being able to use the course material to do something is an indication of understanding and it helps in deep learning. Further, this assignment is intended to build toward the final project. The written sections are designed to be able to serve (with minor modifications) as sections in the written section of the final project. The intent of this project is that you will identify a single topic and use the same topic for all eight EIML assignments. However, this is your course, so if you want to change you can. Be aware though, because these assignments are designed to build on each other, if you change your topic after Module 3 you will be making more work for yourself in the long run.
