A friend of yours, Bob, has recently been hired as an assistant manager of a large retail store. Bob tells you he was recently told he would be helping hire additional sales associates for the store. He tells you he will not have authority to make job offers, but he will interview, screen, and recommend qualified candidates to the manager. Bob will also be responsible for checking references. The manager will determine who is offered employment. Bob has never been responsible for any type of duties related to employment. He tells you he is not too concerned about his new duties associated with hiring new employees since he will not actually be hiring people. He asks you what he should know before taking on these new duties. State specifically what advice you would give Bob
