This is my assignment: select your topic for your research paper and will support your topic with peer-reviewed resources in an annotated bibliography.

Your topic selection and annotated bibliography should contain the following:

1. Describe your topic and the research questions that you seek to address. This description should be brief but provide enough detail and background to guide your selection of key words and phrases to aid in researching the databases for related articles. The description should also provide support that the topic is sufficiently important to warrant your research endeavor and explain why you have chosen this topic for research.
2. Explain the research approach employed and the databases researched.
3. Include an annotated bibliography of at least 10 peer-reviewed articles that are directly pertinent to the research topic you have chosen. These articles should have been published within the last 5 years, unless they are seminal works or have some other particularly important bearing on the topic. The annotated bibliography should be properly formatted and indicate why each article is vital in your literature review. Be certain to provide references in accordance with APA (6th edition) style and formatting.

There is not enough depth in area of focus for me to tell you if this is good or not.It does sound like it could be aviable topical area. Did you find evidence in the literature that supports the need for this to be studied and can you refine it, for example, are you looking at inventory LIFO vs FIFO and the implications on revenue recognition? Can you prove your focus with literature findings? Did you see a recommendation from other researchers that lead you to this? Be ready to defend why this is important to the research world and how you will contribute to the body of knowledge. You will need 10 to 20 articles on this topic to really support all the aspects of the final assignment. In unit 3 you will identify these articles with an annotated bibliography and development of your research question. The question you want to answer with the findings of your research. In Unit 6 you will develop an in-depthannotation outline with supporting point and main contributions each source brings to your research, then in Unit 9 you will bring it all together. You really will not know just how viable this topic is until you begin digging into the literature/databases/dissertations.Hope this further helps.
