This is my first attempt at doing a univariate Analysis.
Did I interpret the table correctly and how do I interpret the skewness coefficient (1.95) and Kurtosis coefficient (9.38) ?
The number of days from symptom onset to admission The variable for the number of days from symptom onset to admission is based on the number of days patient presented with a symptom and then was admitted into hospital and how many days that took. This continuous variable ranges from 0 to 39 days. The mean is 4.46 days, and the median is 4.00 days. The data represented in the histogram is not normally distributed. The three-deviation rule is not met. The rule assumes where there is a 99.7% chance that the data lies between three standard deviations of the mean. The interquartile range is the same as the median. The skewness coefficient is 1.95 and Kurtosis coefficient 9.38 Descriptive Devs sort adouss N 15000 Missing 0 Mear 4.46 Std. error mear 0.0315 95% Cl mean lower bound 4.40 95% Cl mean upper bound 4.52 Median 4.00 Standard deviation 3.86 Variance 14.9 4.00 Range 39 Minimum 0 Maximum 39 Skewness 1.95 Std. error skewness 0.0200 Kurtosis .38 Std. error kurtosis 0.0400 25th percentile 2.00 50th percentile 4.00 75th percentile 5.0Step by Step Solution
