This is the step across the divide from Microeconomics to Macroeconomics. From a focus on the individual to a focus on the collective organized as states, provinces, territories, or countries. We start here with the measurement of the collective wealth - the Gross Domestic Product, GDP - and broken down by either the value of income earned or by the value of expenditures by sectors of the economy.

Let's begin by thinking about what our own interests are in terms of Macroeconomics: Measurement, governance, public policy, and the broad perspective of the "economy." Think about the Philippines. What questions do you have? What aspects of the country's "economy" would you like to explore? (no longer than two hundred words)
