Task: Youve been hired by a new client to plan a special event. As the event manager, you are responsible for all planning, execution, and shutdown details of this event. The event you have been asked to plan is a youth rep basketball tournament. The event purpose is to target U14 boys, and girls, and to raise $2500.00 to go towards a Christmas Sharing program.

What does the client want from this event? 3. Who is your target market and why? 4. Risk Assessment what could go wrong? What is your plan for deal with potential obstacles? 5. How do you plan on raising funds for your event? (auction, donations, entrance charge etc.) 6. Where (location specific) will this event take place? 7. When will this event take place? 8. How can you make this event special (activation opportunity)? 9. Timeline/Schedule build this out as it relates to important tasks related to your event. 10. Budget create a list of items that you will need for your event (expenses and income). 11. Event Structure what are the roles and who is responsible for them? 12. Whats your plan for the event (ROS day before/setup, day of event, shutdown) 13. Post Event Report measuring the overall success of your event.
