This project can be completed in an actual workplace or it might be completed as a result of role plays and simulations designed by the assessor.

Explain how critical and creative thinking concepts and approaches can be applied in a workplace context.

Provide evidence that you can:

• support an environment for your team or work area that encourages the application of critical and creative thinking methods
• ensure that team members have access to the information they need and know how to apply critical and creative thinking to existing workplace objectives, processes and resources
• help team members over-come constraints, limitations or barriers
• organise and facilitate relevant learning opportunities for your team - formal and informal
• develop questions and prompt questioning to broaden knowledge and understanding of the team member cohort
• monitor team skill development and gather feedback from the team
• use feedback from team/ members and other stakeholders to determine future learning needs
• provide feedback and encouragement to team members
• develop recommendations for future learning arrangements/programs

You can role play, be observed in the workplace, write a paper explaining what you have done or submit a portfolio of work place evidence of your ability to foster critical thinking in your team members.

A portfolio of evidence must:

• be verifiably your own work
• cover all aspects of the evidence requirements for this particular unit
• show that you used critical thinking and that you followed appropriate processes to help team members develop useful and usable critical and creative thinking skills
