She wants to invest in stocks that would cover her post-retirement cash flow needs. Client B: Mr. X is 60 year old. He wants to invest in stocks that would cover his yearly expenses. Client C: Married couple with 2 young children. They want to invest their money to pay for their children's college tuition fees & their cars. Each client has KD10,000, Your duty towards your client as a portfolio manager is to: 1. Construct a strategy to meet your clients' financial needs and unique circumstances. 2. Select stocks that should match the strategy. 3. Manage the portfolio. 4. Follow the stocks. Part One: 1. Introduction: explain the report in general and the benefit of it and what will cover. 2. State your client, and naming his/her portfolio: Select the client you want to represent. 3. State the investment strategy, and the justification for the strategy Select an investment strategy (i.e. growth, income, a mix of income & growth, etc.) that would fit your client's financial needs and circumstances. When writing a strategy, you should take inconsideration the client's age and his/her ability to take risk. Explain why the investment strategy you selected is good for your client. 4. Target sectors, weights for each sector, and reasons behind it (before you invest) Select the sectors that would match the client's strategy (i.e. banking, investment, real estate, service, etc.) Explain why you selected those sectors (explain the advantages of investing in those sectors for the client). . Select the weights of each sector (the KD amount and % of your total portfolio will be investment in those sectors). Explain the reasons behind assigning those sector weights. 5. Stock selections criteria if any (such as companies that pay cash dividends, stock dividends, or no dividends, or companies with high PE or low PE, etc.) 6.
