This project so far has started off quite challenging. We had our first scheduled zoom meeting on Sunday May 5th. My self and Jennifer P. attended the zoom meeting and our mentor for the project suggested we connect with each other and work on our project together. I hope this does not mess up anything with our original partners, I do not want them to fall behind. Another challenge we have been facing with this project it the matter of it being very bland and we kind of create our own project. I am not a creative person, but we have made a decision on our project (kind of) and have sent it to the mentor and professor to confirm approval. The easiest part of this project was connecting with Jennifer. We started working on this project right away and talk to each other almost everyday to form ideas. As a leader I am learning to be flexible and go with the flow. I will not always have my answers the second I want them, patience is very helpful and something I am still working on. Our project connect to our careers anf furture goals because Jennifer works in a daycare and I work with children with autism who receive Applied Behavior Analysis. Some children can receive ABA services within daycares as ABA can start as early as 18 months. We have put our knowledge and careers together as one to create this project.
