avera Student Instructions - Assessment Task 1 - A Case Study For this Assessment Task, as a Case Study, you will be required to develop and implement an operational plan using a variety of information sources and consultation (including using specialist advice - which can be provided by your Trainer) which includes: resource requirements . key performance indicators monitoring processes contingency plans Operational plans can be subdivided into two categories: 1. Single-use plans address only the current period or a specific problem. a. An example would be a plan to cut costs during the next year. 2. Ongoing plans carry forward to future periods and are changed as necessary. b. An example would be a long-term plan to retain workers instead of layoffs. In addition, when developing and implementing strategies to achieve your operational plan you will need to take into account the following: recruiting, inducting and developing personnel acquiring physical resources and services protecting intellectual property making variations to the plan monitoring and documenting performance. For your Case Study, as a Sous Chef, you have been requested, by your Head Chef to develop an Operational plan for the kitchen that will increase the return to their shareholders over the next five calendar years (2020-2025).
