This research project seeks to delve into the psychological factors that influence individuals' perceptions of the climate change activism of the renowned environmental advocate, Greta Thunberg. The study aims the social identity approach as a theoretical framework to investigate how social categorisation, identification, and comparison processes influence attitudes towards Thunberg's activism. The study aims to contribute to the literature on the role of social identity processes in shaping attitudes toward collective action for global issues such as climate change. The researcher will use a quantitative approach to gain insights and perspectives from participants. This data will be analysed using SPSS. This study aims to gain insight into the psychological processes underpinning attitudes toward Thunberg's activism, which may inform strategies for effective climate advocacy.
