This research study aims to explore the influence that rising healthcare costs have on the everyday lives of normal Americans when it comes to the prevention and management of diseases that could have been avoided. The following research questions will be the focus of our research study as we aim to find answers to them: Is there a connection between the ever-increasing cost of healthcare in the United States and the decreasing capacity of the typical American to ward off and treat diseases that can be avoided? Does a rise in the availability of healthcare resources, such as preventative care, result in an increase in the typical American's capacity to ward off and treat diseases that could have been avoided? In order to find answers to these study issues, a quantitative research approach in the form of survey data will be utilized to collect information from a population consisting of typical Americans.

Objective:

Identify the laws, theories, models, and/or concept that will be used to develop a quantitative research study variables and research questions/hypothesis, and to guide data collection.
