While many sociologists draw on different perspectives for different issues, please identify the perspective which best represents the author of the book you chose.

You need to:

1. Show that you understand the perspective

2. Show that perspective best represents the author's viewpoint.

Your paper should be 3 to 5 double-spaced pages.

You should use at least three examples from the book you chose. For each example please give the quote and the page number on which it appeared. Choose your examples from different parts of the book. demonstrating your full and complete reading.

You do not need to use any references other than your textbook and the book you chose. Put the name and author of the book you chose on the top of your paper. You can then refer to the author by (Name, page) without repeating any bibliographical information. Should you choose to cite other sources - and you do not have to do so - please give a complete reference.
