This tutorial will help you learn how to work with the different types of graphs that may be used in some of the questions your instructor will assign to you. As you are introduced to a new type of graph functionality, you will have the opportunity to try each yourself.

All graphing questions will include some basic components. There will be graph paper (coordinate system) indicated by an x-axis, a y-axis, and a palette of tools to use on the right side of the graph. Many questions like the one below will include gridlines to assist you in identifying a precise point on the graph paper. All graph questions will include instructions in blue, bold text. Be sure to read these instructions before attempting to answer a graphing question.

Also, note below the graph, the undo / redo icons and the 'Reset' button allowing you to start over drawing the objects on the graph.

Some questions will require you to plot one or several points one at a time. For these types of questions you will click the appropriate point tool on the palette on the right side of the graph to select that point, and then you will click on the graph to place the point. For example, suppose that we are give the following points: A, B and C shown with their x and y coordinates in the table below:
