This was first part of the question. Need help with following...Discuss when it is appropriate to make satisficing decisions and when is it less appropriate. How do you decide?

When faced with a decision I would more than likely engage in satisficing when there are many options available. I have had a few experiences where I have used satisficing. One example was when I was looking for a new truck. I knew I wanted a 2020 or newer truck, but my parents had me on a budget. While I was shopping around, I came across so many trucks that were not in my price range, but many of them were the color I wanted. We went to look at the trucks and ended up purchasing one of them. I was very happy with the outcome because I got a newer truck with better gas mileage, even though it was a little over my parent's budget.
