This was my proposal.

Women's rights are a vast issue worldwide; however, Pakistan severely lacks these rights, and this issue needs attention fast. In Pakistan, women face a ton of discrimination and abuse economically, socially, and more. Pakistan has a traditionally low gender equality index, with women having limited access to education, health as well as economic opportunities. In Pakistan, many women are victims of violence and harassment. According to the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, there were more than 1,000 cases of honor killings in Pakistan between 2016 and 2018. Additionally, women's participation in the workforce is low; only 25% of women are employed, while the remaining 75% of women are not. This is primarily due to their rights and being discriminated against by men, not allowing them to have equal access to rights. In many cultures, men are traditionally assigned the role of patriarch, which is passed down from generation to generation. However, In Pakistan, men dominate women in more fields than just in the form of court. Other factors include economic, social, cultural, and political domination. This overall control has led to women having extremely restricted views and opinions on anything that takes place. For example, women in Pakistan are not given access to education the same way men are, and in most cases, they are deprived of all education. In order To address the global problems, several institutional and social changes would need to be made. Some changes include legal reform (laws need to be enacted to protect women's rights, both in the public and private sectors. These laws should criminalize violence and harassment against women and provide them with legal recourse in cases of abuse.) Educational Reforms (Educational reforms should focus on eliminating the gender gap in education. Girls should be given opportunities to pursue education, and gender stereotypes should be eliminated in educational materials) Economic Reforms (Economic reforms should focus on empowering women economically. This could be done through the provision of microfinance and subsidies to female entrepreneurs and an increase in women's participation in the labor force.) and Cultural Reforms (There is a need to challenge cultural attitudes that view women as inferior to men. This could be done through the promotion of gender equality in the media and the education system.) In conclusion, the problem of women's rights in Pakistan requires urgent attention and intervention. Men have been significant contributors to the issue of women's rights in Pakistan, while institutional and societal changes need to be made to address the problem. The proposed model focuses on a multifaceted approach, including legal, educational, economic, and cultural reforms. Implementing this model requires significant investment but will be worthwhile to create a safe and equitable society for all Pakistanis, regardless of gender.

Economic Model:

For an idea of what an economic model might include, I think addressing the problem of women's rights in Pakistan involves a multifaceted approach encompassing institutional, societal, and legal reforms. However, Implementing these reforms would require significant investment in education, health, and other social services. The economic model will address the root causes of discrimination and violence against women, such as poverty, poor educational opportunities, and inadequate legal protection. Here are some ideas of where I plan to center my research on and what my graphs may resemble.

The teacher commented this:

Important topic! Good initial data Nice policy ideas. May need to narrow focus a bit because including a lot. For the economic model - multifaceted approach not an economic model, try something like labor market discrimination (supply and demand) model. Graphs are good, can include those, just make sure to connect to ideas of supply and demand.

this is the objective:

The paper should be short (at most 4 double spaced pages, including any graphs/tables). The paper should make a clear argument (have a thesis) about the economic forces driving the social issue you are examining and what policies should be implemented to address them. This argument should be supported by economic analysis (at least one graph!).

use my proposal what the teacher said to add and what needs to be done (the objective) and INCLUDE SUPPLY AND DEMAND GRAPH EXPLAIN and write a detailed essay explanation.
