This week we discussed the process of jury selection in the prosecution of cybercriminals. Both the prosecuting attorney and the defense attorney weigh the need or desire for computer-savvy jurors. Can you imagine situations when a prosecutor or a defense team may not want a jury to know too much about how computers work? Conversely, can you imagine technically complicated cases where the prosecuting attorney or the defense team would desire jurors to know a considerable amount about the inner workings of computer systems?
