This week we noted that free enterprise is not pro-business but pro-human. As part of our conversation on rent-seeking, we discussed how rent-seeking for pro-business activity is counter to efficiency and our pro-human philosophy of business; that business is about creating value for people rather than business using rent-seeking to transfer wealth to itself.
