This week you learned about the different types of rubrics and designing scoring rubrics. Teachers use many different strategies for writing rubrics and most of them fall into one of two categories such as the top-down method and the bottom-up method. In your discussion, ensure that you address the question:

• What are the advantages and disadvantages of the different types of rubrics such as Analytic, Holistic, General, and Task-Specific? Provide one example of each.
