This week's assignment is about the need for planning and coordination prior to and after implementing Business Information Systems (BIS) in an organization.

You are an IT consultant specializing in business information systems (BIS) creating a functional overview document for a perspective client. The client wants to avoid the implementation and integration issues with enterprise or business systems (e.g., CRM, SCM, ERP, DSS, MIS, KMS, OAS, or TPS) experienced by other organizations. Using scholarly material researched from the internet and the Wilmington University Library, identify, at least, four implementation and integration issues experienced by actual organizations (be sure to identify the organization and the BIS). Explain why each issue created a problem and how this issue can be mitigated if your client chooses to acquire one or more BISs.

Remember, this assignment is about synthesizing material (put the ideas/concepts together in a new way), not summarizing (restating) material. In addition, the implementation and integration issues must not include anything about governmental regulations, laws, rules, or policies.
