This week's topics relate to budgets and their variances. Using at leastthreeterms from either Chapter 7 or Chapter 8, relate the term to a personal experience giving specific information and examples related to the term.

For example, if you were using the term work-in-process (although I realize this term is not from Chapter 7 or Chapter 8) you could tell a story of when you were making a craft for your child's holiday party. You may have had a production line beginning with raw materials that included styrofoam, cotton balls, and assorted foam shapes. You began to produce the craft and were interrupted with a phone call. The partially completed crafts would be considered work-in-process.
