This will involve addressing each of the following in a typewritten response that is no more than three pages in length:

1) What are future work-related opportunities (i.e., occupations, positions/jobs) that fall within or are closely associated with Clinical Psychology career domain? Consider work-related opportunities through which you could pursue your career-related goals. Remember that a career is not the same thing as a single job, so this is a place to brainstorm a bit and think broadly about ways in which you could pursue your career, but potentially through a variety of different jobs or work-related experiences.

2) Provide a summary of the top five critical knowledge, skill, ability, and other characteristics (i.e., KSAOs) associated with your Clinical Psychology career domain. You have to identify this information from pertinent O*NET occupational profiles. To be clear, you are to identify the top 5 for each KSAO, so you should end up with 20 or so total KSAO elements identified as critical for success in Clinical Psychology career area. This information will come from the O*NET occupational profile for a single occupation or a small subset of occupations in the O*NET system that are related to your career interests. Access the O*NET profiles for these occupations and carefully review the information contained in these profiles to address this part of this assignment. If your chosen career area does not perfectly align with a single O*NET occupational profile, then find two or three occupations that, considered together, describe the essence of your chosen career and mesh the information from these occupational profiles together as you do this assignment.

3) Identify and discuss pertinent undergraduate and graduate school-related options that would best prepare you for this chosen career. Here I am asking you to describe in a fairly general sense what types of undergraduate and graduate level degrees, majors, minors, concentrations, and/or certifications are worth pursuing as a means of preparing you educationally for this career area. These will not be sufficient all by themselves to make you career ready, but understanding essential educational requirements is a big part of getting on the right track to pursue your career aspirations
