Through exercise evaluation, jurisdictions/organizations assess the capabilities needed to accomplish a mission, function, or objective. Evaluation ties objectives to priorities, assesses the performance of capability targets and critical tasks, and documents strengths and areas for improvement. Evaluation connects the exercise to Improvement Planning and feeds into the overall Integrated Preparedness Cycle. Sometimes it is difficult to critique others in many different situations and exercises are no exception.
