Through the use of a country analysis of a selected country in the Caribbean region, students will detail the impacts of COVID-19 on the unemployment rate of that country and make recommendations for the country's government to alleviate unemployment issues and increase the employment rate. This activity is designed to reinforce students' knowledge of the unemployment rate in the region, the decision-making process of government employment policy and demonstrate the importance of evidence-based policy.
