1. Throughout the duration of this course, produce a diary documenting your performance of the following tasks in the workplace or in the learning environment:

 

• Evaluate and integrate facts and ideas to construct meaning from a range of text types in an effort to implement continuous improvement systems and processes

• Select vocabulary, grammatical structures and conventions appropriate to text

• Research, plan and prepare continuous improvement documentation for relevant stakeholders

• Participate in a variety of spoken exchanges with a range of audiences using structure and language to suit the audience

• Monitor adherence to organisational policies and procedures and consider own role in terms of its contribution to broader goals of the work environment

• Select and use appropriate conventions and protocols when communicating with diverse individuals to seek or share information

• Collaborate with others to achieve joint outcomes, playing an active role in facilitating effective group communication, influencing direction and taking a leadership role on occasion

• Take responsibility for planning and organising own workload to achieve required outcomes

• Use systematic, analytical processes in complex, non-routine situations, setting goals, gathering relevant information and identifying and evaluating options against agreed criteria

• Evaluate effectiveness of decisions in terms of how well they meet stated goals

• Use digital applications to access and filter data, extract, organise, integrate and share relevant information

• Recognise the potential of new approaches to enhance work practices and outcomes.

 

For each diary entry, provide a description of the situation as well as the action you have taken to complete the task, clearly stating which task you are referring to.

 

Where possible, a signed observation will be required as evidence of completion.
