THT3111 Environment & Cultural Tourism

A case study on natural-ecological and cultural-heritage management principles within the tourism sector. It requires you to analyse and critique the experiences offered by a destination and its competitors; to be aware of the global challenges in maintaining cultural-heritage and environmental resilience in a contemporary real-world context; and to recommend improvements to stakeholder management and appropriate changes to existing sustainability strategies or alternatively, the introduction of new approaches to sustainable management.

This case study is based on the Budj Bim Cultural Landscape (Victoria, Australia).
