Tiago visited McLaren Vines, which is a small winemaker located about one hour's drive from Adelaide.Jim is the sole owner of McLaren Vines. During his visit, Tiago was taken on a tour of the main production facility by Jim.The main production facility was filled with Oak Barrels.Tiago was impressed with what he saw, especially the Oak Barrels (which enhances the flavour of the wine).Based on this, and what Tiago thought was a very reasonable price for oak-stored wine, Tiago signed a six-month supply contract for red-wine.

Tiago had assumed the wine was stored in the Oak Barrels.However, he later discovered that the Oak Barrels he saw were empty, and that most of the wine produced by McLaren Vines was stored off-site in steel containers.During the tour, Jim had not said anything about how or where the wine was stored.
