TikTok, the leading social app on Google Play, is facing challenges amid rumours that it may be causing excessive battery drain for Android users, even when the app is not actively in use. A two-day test has been conducted based on 13 randomly selected Android phone users. The first day required to have the app installed on the device (without opening the app) and use the phone normally. The second day required to have the app uninstall completely and use the phone normally. The battery percentage at the end of each day is found below (the phones are fully charged at the beginning of each day). With = 0.05, is there sufficient evidence to prove that TikTok causes excessive battery drainage?
