On the other hand, a business owner who has worked hard to build a business, personally shouldering all the financial risk, might feel that he or she should have the legal right to hire whomever most appeals to them. Isn't making money what business is all about? If a company feels that hiring [for example] only people who are tall, or left-handed, or red-headed, or African-American will allow the company to make more money, should doing so be illegal? In short, do you favor a law such as Title VII, which is intended to eliminate discrimination in the workplace, or do you think that employers should be free to hire whomever they choose?
