Title:Centrifugal Pump Performance Purpose: The purpose of this lab module was to develop an understanding of the operation and performance of a centrifugal pump and create the performance curves for the TecQuipment Tutor Pump set. Objectives: Upon completion of this lab, you will be able to: 1.Calculate the flow rate, water horsepower, brake horsepower, and efficiency for both 100% and 50% pump speed 2.Plot pump head, brake horsepower, and efficiency versus flow rate for each pump setting 3.Discuss the results obtained in the experiment and the curves developed and sources of error in the experiment
