TMA 02 In Chapter 6.1.2 of the Part 2 text you learned a little about fossil-fuel-fired power stations and Question 1 Activity 8.1b of the online material looked at using waste as an energy source. You may need to refer to the remainder of Chapter 6 and part of Chapter 7 for Parts (b) and (c) of this Question 2 question. Question 3 A utility company is considering installing a waste-fired power station to burn the materials in the domestic waste stream that are not recyclable.
