To add to his ongoing problems, in January 2022, William 's company Duke of Hasting Sdn Bhd entered an agreement with DEF Son Bid where the company provide services to DEF SDN Bhd for obtaining of Mining Permit in Malacca where the consultation and workman fees are RM12,000. All necessary works has been done and the mining permit has been given to DEF Son Bhd. However, till date DEF Son Bhd have not make payment for the services rendered and recently send a letter to William with a cheque amounting to RM6,000 as full and final settlement without admission to any liability. William check in the money but did not indicate his acceptance to this concession nor agreed to the arrangement and upon drawing the monies of RM6,000, William instructed his lawyers to claim the remaining RM6,000.
