To analyze the housing situation of the college students, we take a random sample of the size n = 100 from the population of students at the college campus. We ask those students about their housing situation, with "living in a rented apartment", "living in a student residence" and "living in my parents' house" as possible options. Our goal is to determine the proportion p1 of those students who live in a rented apartment, the proportion p2 of those students who live in a student residence and the proportion p3 of those students who still live at their parents' house.
