It is common knowledge that retirees are normally not given much attention by organizations, in this case, HR, up until the day of their retirement. Knowing that retirement often comes with complicated feelings and often with a degree of apprehension, it can be psychologically, mentally, and emotionally challenging. The apprehension may be linked to aging, rather than leaving work, and some doubt will center on the adjustment required to make the best use of a new and very different phase of life. Although it is still a personal journey for employees, companies can do something significant in easing the retirement process. It is then another rich area for any HRD to venture into as part of its services - from hiring to retiring. In connection to this, the group must design a 5-3-or 2-year Program or Module that can be implemented by the HRD in organizations, i.e. own organization. The program and its delivery will be designed by the group.
